Wellness Council of America: We spend more than other nations, but we are not the healthiest country. Much of our illness is preventable. Health care costs are a significant concern. The worksite is an ideal setting for addressing health concerns. Research validates the effectiveness of health programs and may produce a return on investment. More companies are building excellent wellness programs.
